Stormy weather

Start of yesterday's winter storm. My camera refused to work after 10 minutes - too cold! (And today's morning forecast is -15C, lovely.)

The open stream makes for a good line to follow. Splendid and cold looking shot.

It's a nice photo and Stormy Weather is a nice song but you're welcome to that weather!

I wish I was as brave as you to go out and get some winter photos.

Please send me some cold over this way. Everyone is going to grumble except for me!
I love this shot, I might frame it to remind myself what winter is.

I love that stream running through the middle. I can't tell if this is a black and white shot or that's just how the colours looked- amazing!

Love it! I'm headed out here once the sun comes up to take a few.

I hate hearing about cameras on strike. I have one that thinks it belongs to a union too. Frustrating!

I don't think I'd be able to get my fingers to work the shutter in that kind of cold. However, it does make for a gorgeous photo!

I like the song “stormy weather” very much.
Colors of winter, black and white are so attractive!

At least the freezing weather works for beautifully crisp photos. At least until it seizes up, great wintery landscape!

Now that is COLD. Looks wonderful though, Lulu (so long as you have a really warm coat on...and boots...and a scarf...not forgetting gloves :)).

Hmmm.. -15C is very good temperature, or is it..? (No, it's too cold, we have also -15C )

Snow here too and for the VA eastern shore getting up to 5 inches did make for a lovely morning. Grenville's camera zoom froze up too in the cold temps this morning.

Wind chill -29 here today, but the snow missed us!!
This is so pretty, Jude.

So beautiful!! We got a lot of snow this week too. I wish I wasn't too wimpy to get out and get some good shots.

Beautiful Winter scene.

It's been cold here too. I've been doing most of my photography through a window.

Okay...I think all of us in the Northern Hemisphere should go spend the next few months with Grace in Perth, and when winter hits Australia, she can visit us!

Oh, but that is gorgeous.

What a great shot! I must admit it was too cold for me to take pictures. The batteries freeze.

-15!!! OMG, no wonder your camera started a strike! :-) Gorgeous photo, though.

Nice scene, Lulu. I didn't realize that cameras balk in cold weather.

My Connecticut-born daughter now reports temperatures in Celsius. I had you figured out as an American who had lived in England, but now I am reconsidering. The mysteries we bloggers have to unravel . . .
