"O, what a place for a lake!"

{Lake Carnegie and dam on the Millstone River}
Industrialist Andrew Carnegie reportedly uttered those words when he saw this area. Carnegie's gift, the construction of  Lake Carnegie, provided a great place to row, ice skate, sail...or just soak up some sun.
~Hope yours is a sunny weekend!~

He was born in the same town as I was Lulu, Dunfermline, only a hundred and more years earlier haha! Looks like he created a lovely wee spot to have a bit of fun.

I was inside one of his libraries yesterday, I think the view on this lake is much better.

Yes I think Carnagie got it right ... Its a great place for a lake .... Yes! It's been a delightful sunny week-end in my corner of the world and so good to see similar conditions in Princeton.

Randy - it's perfect for a chat :)

Adele - his libraries are so cool! I may've only been in one in California but I love the motivation behind them.

Paul - ah, how lucky you are to be near one of his libraries!

Dianne - how lovely to hear that sunny weekends were happening also in your part of the world. This is actually a lovely time of year - the transition to/from winter :)
