Tiger hunting on Princeton campus

Not sure if this is the male or female

These male and female tigers appeared in 1969, when Princeton first admitted women. (About time!:) A big film crew has been in the area - perhaps this pair will show up in an upcoming movie?

cieldequimper - heehee, on a dark & stormy night, with just a bit of imagination, I probably would've too! :)

Indeed, very impressive! Nice 'cool' spot for those cats and for you too. Hope the weather breaks soon.

It's a wonderfully crafted sculpture .....I'll watch for it at the movies.

These are very impressive beasts. Here in Leeds we have so large lions in stone but they are rather weather beaten after all the years since they were installed.

I'll say about time..Blimey I'm so glad I wasn't born a hundred years ago..can't imagine not being able to do exactly what I want to do can you! These tigers are beautifully sculpted, so very impressive and powerful looking.

Handsome animal, isn't it?

Paul - yes, they do take good care of them here (and I think the original Princeton symbol was a lion!)

PerthDailyPhoto - oh gosh, can you imagine? I'm pretty glad I didn't live as a woman back then either! :)

EG CameraGirl - yes, he's a bit of a headturner on campus! :)

They're beautiful. So great to get to pass them on a walk. (I would probably quicken my pace a bit...)

Male and female, they look very fierce. A true guardians, both of them.
