July theme day: chimneys

I apparently forgot July is here! These chimneys seem more at home in an English town than an American one.
(The CDP portal appears to be down - please visit http://cdpbthemeday.blogspot.com.au/ for July theme day.)

This is fabulous! It does look rather English!

Beautiful brickwork. I love to see real bricks, by that I mean ones made by people rather than mass produced ones. We have a company here in Yorkshire that can and does make one off bricks for new projects and also restoration work.

cieldequimper - thank you! I think Princetonians are a wee bit obsessed with gothic revival and other European architecture :)

Paul - I too love that about some of the local buildings, signs of handmade work. That is very cool about the Yorkshire company, hard to find that now.

Gorgeous shot Lulu, is that three chimneys or just one sort of big one? The red brick looks so beautiful with the sun shining on it!

PerthDailyPhoto - thank you! I wondered about that too...it also caught my eye yesterday (before I realized it was already July!) when the sun shone on it :)

Well, I forgot about Theme Fay too! Unfortunately, my June was super busy. I really like these chimneys - quite attractive!
